Calvary Baptist Church (the Church I’m part of) does a monthly Bible Reading plan, so that Christians can read the Bible in concert with fellow Christians. The idea is to talk about the text of Scripture over the month that we’re reading together. Since the blog is working to foster that discussion, here are the Bible readings as they have been chosen for 2026.

May: Ezra, Nehemiah, Esther
June: Leviticus & Hebrews
July: Joshua & Judges
August: Psalms
September: Ruth, Hosea, Song of Solomon
October: Exodus, Numbers
November: Ezekiel
December: Isaiah
